When I planned my scuba diving trip to Con Dao, I was picturing vibrant reefs. And don't get me wrong, they were amazing. But I saw something on Amadive Con Dao's dive list: **Diving a Sunken Wreck**. My pulse jumped. This wasn't just a standard reef dive; this was journey into the past.

I have to admit, I was a bit nervous. Diving a wreck is serious business. But the crew at **Amadive Con Dao Dive Center** was incredible. The PADI guides provided a very thorough briefing. We covered safety protocols, the story of the wreck, and what to expect below. The fact we were in a small group instantly made me feel comfortable.

Descending was surreal. First, it was just a shadow in the blue, then suddenly it came into view. It is enormous. The ship is now a thriving artificial reef, covered in corals and swarming with fish. We saw giant groupers hiding from inside the hull, and lionfish patrolling the superstructure. That feeling of gliding next to this silent, ghostly vessel is indescribable—eerie, awe-inspiring, and humbling at the same time. It truly is a piece of history on the seabed.

For any a certified diver visiting Con Dao and looking for something beyond the usual reef dive, I cannot recommend this **Con Dao wreck dive** highly enough. It was the unforgettable highlight of my Vietnam trip. A huge shout-out to the **Amadive** crew for here their professionalism and for making this unforgettable adventure possible and safe.
